The following information forms our terms & conditions when purchasing through the Choccy Boxes website:
When ordering, please remember that chocolate products are perishable and will melt in heat.
Product Information & Best Before Dates
We use a range of products when making our chocolate bouquets. These are made up of ‘regular’ sized products, which often come from multi-packs – but not the smaller ‘snack’ size bars. We also use larger sized bars which typically vary in weight from 90g to 120g and ‘sharing’ bags of a similar weight.
Whilst we use products from multi-packs, as they often offer better much better value compared to regular priced products, we do not use price marked products.
Unless stated otherwise, all the chocolate & confectionery products included in our bouquets & gift boxes will have a minimum of three months remaining before the Best Before date is reached.
Whilst Choccy Boxes aim to keep the website up to date, there may be occasions when we are unable to obtain a certain product or products. In these instances we reserve the right to substitute with a similar product which is in keeping with the Bouquet purchased and is similar in value.
Payments must be made through the Choccy Boxes website using our card processing partner, Stripe.
For your security we do not take telephone orders. Stripe uses secure servers and Choccy Boxes have no access to any credit or debit card data.
Our chocolate bouquets, chocolate gift boxes & sweet bouquets are all hand-made so please ensure you take into account the delivery times shown below if you require your gift delivered for a specific date.
We aim to ship orders placed before 11am the next working day (Monday to Friday). Any orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be processed on the following Monday (excludes bank holidays).
Where a specific date is required, please add this to the ‘Order Notes’ box on the checkout page – Monday to Saturday only. We will use our data and send one day early (assuming enough notice before shipping date) to allow for any delay that may occur on the couriers part.
Please note that we only ship to one address per order. If you require gifts sent to different addresses you will need to submit multiple orders.
Tracked UK Delivery: Delivery normally in 3 – 4 working days
We offer Tracked UK Delivery throughout the UK (excluding the Channel Islands) as standard using CollectPlus.
The anticipated delivery time from date of ordering is within 3 to 4 working days. At busier times this may be longer.
PLEASE NOTE: Deliveries to and from Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and the Far North of Scotland will normally take an additional working day, whilst it may be up to 5 extra working days for deliveries to the Scottish Islands.
We cannot guarantee a specific delivery date using this service but, using the data we have accumulated, we will do our best to try and ensure your gift is delivered as close to any required date as we possibly can.
This option allows the courier to leave in a safe place if they are unable to deliver in person however you can upgrade to Tracked with Signature for an additional £1.00 per gift.
*Please be aware that delivery may be attempted at any point between early morning and late evening.
Premium UK Delivery: Delivery within 2 – 3 working days
We also offer quicker UK delivery through Royal Mail or Parcelforce. This option aims to deliver within 2 to 3 working days and before 4pm – useful if you’re sending to a business or office.
We are able to predict more accurately when your gift should arrive using Premium Delivery however, at busier times (and due to the Covid pandemic) delivery times may be longer.
Shipping is only enabled for one chocolate bouquet per order using this method – if you require more than this you will have to submit multiple orders.
The following postcodes are excluded from our typical delivery times (as stated in the table above) and are not guaranteed to be delivered before 4pm using our Royal Mail / Parcelforce Premium Delivery service:

All products are individually assembled. UK deliveries are dispatched in plain cardboard boxes and we try to ensure your gift arrives in perfect condition by using appropriate sized boxes and eco-friendly padding materials.
As stated above chocolate products are perishable and will melt when exposed to heat. Couriers do not offer any kind of cost effective service which allows for us to send in a way which avoids this. Although we can refund for goods that are damaged upon arrival, we cannot refund for products that have melted whilst in transit.
For goods damaged in transit, you’ll need to return your order to us before we can issue a refund. Your order, and all of the individual products contained within it, must be returned in the same condition in which it was received. That is, sealed within it’s cellophane gift wrapping and in it’s original packaging.
The cost of returning the order is the buyers responsibility. We recommend you use a ‘Signed For’ service when returning the package to us.
You must contact us before initiating a return and this must be within 5 days of receiving the order. Refunds will be issued after we have received the item.
Postage refunds will be based upon information received from the delivery partner used. Choccy Boxes cannnot be held liable for any refunds of postage in circumstances that are beyond our control. This can include, but is not limited to, compliance with laws or regulations, acts of God (such as floods, storms, snow, etc.), acts or omissions of the Purchaser, acts or civil or military authority, judicial action, defaults of sub-contractors or suppliers, labour disputes, failure or delays in transportation, embargoes, wars or riots.
As a small, family business, Choccy Boxes make no guarantee that we can offer our Corporate Gift service at all times.
All gifts purchased for corporate gift giving will be supplied on the basis agreed and must be paid in advance of any products being shipped.
Whilst we will always try to meet deadlines, if it becomes apparent that we will be unable to meet an agreed shipment time we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss how to proceed.
This may include agreeing a new time-frame or cancelling the remaining portion of your order. Please note that no refunds will be available for any monies paid for goods that have already been dispatched.
Any discount applied, based on the table on our Corporate Chocolate Bouquet Gifts page, is applied solely against the purchase price of the chocolate bouquets and NOT the shipping.
Shipping costs will be calculated for each order individually and will therefor vary. We offer a tracked delivery service as standard.
